The reporter’s words

Hi Today we received a notice saying we had placed soft plastic in our recycling bin. I opened the yellow bin to find rubbish from the student flat across our street. It was packing material with large sections of sellotape. I removed the sellotape. I have photographed the material with the name and address of a flat resident. 6 Siska Place. As we have been very careful with our recycling I would not want a ‘black mark’ held against our residence, 7a Siska Place. I have heard that if there are a number of recycling infringements either the recycling will not be collected and/or the yellow recycling bin will be removed. Would you please ensure that our address has a ‘clean bill of health’ in your records. Sincerely Ross Nicholson
