Roading/Streets
Reported Sunday, 6 March 2022 at 3:30 pm, 23, William Dawson Crescent, Halswell, Canterbury, 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Every time there is a sale at Gull (reasonably often) the road is swamped with traffic which queues in both directions. This leads to vehicles parking on the shared path and cycle lane, as well as on occasion blocking the entire roadway, stopping buses and emergency services. Traffic also goes up to and beyond the inspection which totally eliminates any visibility for those turning from Carrs Road onto Awatea Road. Can you please send to traffic engineer and advise next steps? This is a LGOIMA for what actions you will take to reduce the danger presented.
