The reporter’s words
Why can't the council maintain the river bank in front of rate payers homes? Grass has not been mowed for months and the grass is over 500mm high and some of the weeds are over 800mm high. The red zone gets mowed regularly and there are no rate payers there. I think we should all stop paying our rates. Section or river bank that has been neglected is between Torless Street and Ngarimu Street.
