The reporter’s words
I would be most grateful if the tree outside our house on the reserve could be pruned on your next round of pruning in Delamain. We have looked after it til now but it’s become so big we can’t manage it anymore. The tree is almost touching our fence now and I’m frightened what might happen in a strong wind as it’s huge and moves about a lot. It’s a lovely tree so only needs a good prune and height reduction. I’m happy to keep the bottom and around the base tidy. It’s never had a prune (except by us) since it’s been there. I also would like to tell you that I look after the reserve garden by our house and have planted some flowers, roses and herbs in it. I just wanted to check that was okay with the council. I love gardening and get a lot of positive comments from passers by, so it’s not unsightly. Unfortunately the tree in this garden appears to have died. Many thanks Lynne Waaka
