Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 5 April 2022 at 7:45 pm, 360 Memorial Avenue, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This silver birch tree on the street berm is obviously dead and has been for some time. How long before it falls on some unfortunate pedestrian or passing motorist/cyclist. There is a tree stump which has not been removed from the edge of the footpath approx. 50 meters north of the tree. This is a significant trip hazard for pedestrians.
