The reporter’s words

There is a long strip of pavement along OHalloran Drive, Halswell which I would describe as 'non-curbed' as in it doesn't have a proper guttering edge, but like a driveway lip that runs all along. The problem is that MANY cars do u-turns at this corner and mount the pavement because it is flat. (See pic 2, there were children on both sides of this vehicle that had to move out of its way). Whilst I know adding a curb this isn't a fix all but it would allow a much improved level of safety if vehicles weren't easily able to mount the pavement as it is just an accident waiting to happen as it gets busier and busier. Thank you :)
