Parks
Reported Wednesday, 1 March 2017 at 12:06 pm, Parklands, 8083, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The weeds in the garden plots are a disgrace. Fat hen over 1 metre tall and up against the fence the plants were removed by council and the weeds are growing and seeding over the fence. Weeds need removing properly from all garden plots in the reserve. Alternatively the plots by the paths should be returned to grass and mown. That would be much tidier. The plots along the centre path are walked on regularly by sports people taking short cuts to the playing fields.
