The reporter’s words
Just returned from holiday to find the house overwhelmingly impregnated and smelling of sewerage pond. Small venting windows had been ajar. Now have had to open up every door and window in the house to try to diffuse it. It smells out side too but is even worse inside. It is nauseating. I doubt I’ll be able to sleep.
