Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 29 April 2022 at 10:29 am, 221 Marine Drive, Charteris Bay 8971, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The first photo shows the beginning of the footpath that allows walkers to avoid the dangers of the u-turn at the bottom. The second shows the road approaching that which does not allow walkers to safely use the road. The berm has not been mown for at least two years and now has small trees along it. The track along the side of the road is completely overgrown in parts up to the James. Drive turnoff. It is a popular walk from Diamond Harbour to Black Point and Charteris Bay but is increasingly dangerous
