The reporter’s words

Construction noise from 4am- Concrete slab being laid, lights .concrete . Pump. Laser bleeps concrete Lorry. Shouting vans radio. I reported this at 4.15 am!!!! There is absolutely no reason to do this work at 4am as the slab was poured and finished by 6am- the truck and contractors then moved down the road to start another slab.. I reported this to noise control at 4.15 and again at 4.45 am where I was told they had a permit to work at this time..which is laughable… I asked to speak to the officer who had apparently visited the site and the lady shouted at me and hung up. This is a residential sub division not an international airport runway that can only be done in the middle of the night… I can only assume the contractor (Marty’s Pumps) can access a permit to allow them to make more money!!! Pointless legislation if it can be just ridden shot gun over. We have video from our back garden which is 10ft away from the poured slab and I expect a response and explanation as to why a permit can be issued for no good reason apart from Maximizing profit…. 02102957120 I look forward to your response before we post the video..
