The reporter’s words

So nice to see the council sucker truck out last week doing the leaves in the Merivale area where there was a smattering of leaves in the gutters. Come over a suburb and an avenue we are not so privileged. Spent weekend raking and putting leaves in a pile and now moved on to the street Pretty much the whole of Oxley Ave gutters are chocka block with leaves. We are expecting rain over the next 72 hrs so there will be a lot of surface flooding as drains currently blocked with leaves !!!
