Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 13 May 2022 at 1:17 pm, Mandeville Street, Canterbury 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Leaf litter, branches and acorns from trees bordering the footpath are creating a trip and slip hazard on the footpath. The debris covers nearly half the footpath, and is a constant issue in this area. I observed people today tripping and also taking the time to try to sweep it away using their feet. The gum trees in particular on the road side of the elevated part of the footpath constantly drop leaves and bark. It's not just an autumn thing
