The reporter’s words
This stink is unbearable. I stress about Coming home I open my car door and it makes me nauseous. I have to keep our pets inside as the smell sticks to their fur. We can’t hang out washing outside, we can’t open our windows during the day. I have to change my clothes and shower after I have been outside. Our windows have a thick grime on them that we have never had in the 7 years of living here. This ruins our property value it ruins of way of living it makes our Whanau feel nauseous and we no longer have social events or family visit as the smell is so unbearable to everyone who visits. This has ruined our way of life, this smell has ruined our enjoyment of our home. We wouldn’t be able to sell our home without the loss of market value due to smell. We have been unheard over and over and now you tell the public $200 is condensation however we are not in the small area that is deemed as suffering. Can you please tell my children that they can’t play outside without feeling sick and having the smell stinking to their clothes that our home is deemed by the council as not being effected by the endless rotting smell. I am over feeling sick from just going to the car in our driveway.
