Roading/Streets
Reported Saturday, 4 June 2022 at 3:05 pm, 28 John Campbell Crescent, Hillmorton, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The cars parked daily on this corner of John Campbell Crescent are becoming a significant hazard for all motorists passing and we have witnessed near crashes many times. The vehicles on both sides are blocking the view of any oncoming vehicles approaching from around the corner. The gap between the vehicles is significantly small and an emergency vehicle would struggle to pass. The AA Roadcode indicates the following; Do not park your vehicle; near a corner, curve, hill, traffic island or intersection, if it will stop other people from seeing along the road.
