The reporter’s words

Jacobs St was reseated earlier this year. Soon after, some of the loose gravel was removed, but a lot still remains. Gravel has been swept into the gutters and pushed under the bridges to many homes. The machine that cleaned the gutters a few months back did not clear this gravel. When it rains, the water does not flow in the gutters because of this. Leaves also block the water flow. 2 things need attention: 1. The road needs to be swept to remove all the loose gravel. 2. The gutters need to be cleared PROPERLY including under the bridges to homes.
