The reporter’s words

This roundabout has a designated pedestrian crossing on the west east and west side. The one on the west side is very dangerous. Due to the plantings on the roundabout you cannot see whether traffic is coming. You just have to cross your fingers and make a run for it, this roundabout is not suited to plantings at all. Near misses are a regular thing. The pedestrian has no clear view of road. Plantings need to be removed and roundabout made plain.
