The reporter’s words

Reposting this to clarify - cars park on the pathway because, although there are no parking spaces marked, there are also no signs or marking to indicate not to park or that it's for pedestrians/cyclists. Many of the cars parked there are buying a coffee and would be gone before a parking warden arrived. I'm sure a couple of signs or markings would solve the matter.
