The reporter’s words
This part of the Northern Corridor Cycleway near the Chaneys motorway offramp traffic lights always floods in rain events as the cycleway was build about 200mm too low to prevent the water from the Chaneys offramp flooding the cycleway. Result being that most cyclists take to the grass and destroy the grass. The photo was taken today- a week after the rain event.
