The Roto kohatu reserve road has become suitable for 4WD vehicles only. There are huge numbers of very large potholes which will seriously impact on any emergency services accessing the lakes and carrying out injured patients. The road is used daily by a number of swimmers, kayakers, dog walkers, runners, paddle boarders. It is in desperate need of repair, or an alternative access road opened urgently.
