The reporter’s words
The new footpath / cyclepath on the eastern side of Jones Road ends short of a safe crossing zone. Pedestrians are forced to walk next to the busy road on either side. The footpath needs to be extended 50m past Globe Bay Drive to allow a safe crossing zone.
