The reporter’s words
Citycare workers parked outside the Isleworth School entrance at school pick up time, in a no parking zone (see the sign clearly visible). When I approached him to inform him he was in a no parking zone for the safety of students about to be coming out of the school gate and asked him to move his vehicle, he informed me those parking rules don't apply to him. If we can't even get City Council contractors to follow their own parking restrictions, there for extremely valid safety reasons, you may as well just take them all down. We have enough issue with lazy parents parking there constantly without the absolutely disappointing and dangerous example being set by the CCC.
