Trees - General
Reported Tuesday, 6 September 2022 at 9:02 pm, 3 Whisby Road, Cashmere, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This tree is dangerously leaning 45 degrees across the Whisby walkway; this is used by lots of people and particularly children on their way to and from school. The tree is also leaning over our path out front gate and over our mailbox. Our two year old grandson plays and walks on path and walkway. The soil isn’t deep in our area, and in addition it looks as if it’s rotting away at the base. A tree has previously fallen onto the path and wrecked our $200 mailbox.
