Wastewater/Stormwater
Reported Saturday, 22 July 2017 at 9:35 am, 9, Westminster Street, Saint Albans, 8014, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
My driveway and the St Albans Stream are being used as a storm water drain for the Rutland Street end of Westminster Street, owing to a blocked drain (pictured). This drain was 'sucked' out by City Care last week, but my impression is that the blockage is below the surface as the overflow has been going on for months. This matter is not a priority (as my house is quite safe). There will be more urgent issues about the City at present, but would you please put it on your 'To Do' list. With thanks, Yours faithfully, Jennifer Pryor
