Wastewater/Stormwater
Reported Saturday, 29 July 2017 at 1:09 pm, 8, Westminster Street, Saint Albans, 8014, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Old broken Tarmac pieces from the Westminster / Rutland Street end of the new Cycleway, blocking the gutter, are preventing any hope of storm water drainage from the north side of Westminster Street going down the storm water drain on that side. It consequently flows across the road and joins the rivulet flowing across my driveway bridge (8 Westminster Street) and then into the St Albans Stream. I wrote to you about the blocked drain on the south side (via SnapSendSolve) on 22 July 2017, but have not had even an electronic acknowledgement. I would be grateful if you would do something about the stormwater drainage at the Rutland Street end of Westminster Street. Thanking you in anticipation. Your faithfully, Jennifer Pryor
