The reporter’s words
This swell/ park area in the entire time I have lived here 6 years looks like the photos , I’ve removed the Waratah that was centre stage last year as park staff had no initiate to remove it but now around it. The horse as seen in the photos is getting out of hand and no one can wear bare feet as there’s is an abundance of it often seen flowering! This lawn area has never had proper grass on it mostly weeds. It would be appreciated by neighbours and children if this was addressed such as re sewing the lawn as it is not a lawn area at present. I have complained about this before and reviewed no response, park staff are aware of how bad it is but have no input as far as improving things. I look forward to seeing a lawn area that can be played on and enjoyed by everyone and hearing from someone Also the trees ( seedlings self seeded) are getting very large in the rocks and need removed before they ruin the area. Regards Denise Stephen
