The reporter’s words

This 'puddle' has been in the middle of Hansens Park for many months now, growing bigger each week. On Tuesday my dog drank out of it, he has been vomiting for the 48 hours since. The 'puddle' looks and smells putrid and I am concerned of the potential health risk to humans, particularly children playing at the park. This area used to be landfill so if the puddle is the result of a new spring it could be passing through unknown contaminants. Is it possible to have the water tested and the puddle fenced off?
