Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 24 October 2017 at 4:15 pm, 17, Hackthorne Road, Cashmere, 8022, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Hackthorne Rd really needs sweeping. All the stone chips from the last sealing job are getting stuck in our tires when we cycle up here. Today one got stuck between the tire and my bike stopping me. A less experienced cyclist would probably fall off - potentially into traffic which could be fatal. I also worry that it could happen to a front tire while descending which would throw the cyclist over the front wheel - again with potentially fatal consequences. With the warmer weather and melting tar this is now urgent Thanks
