The reporter’s words

I bike westbound on Westminster Street. As the yellow lane on my mark up has road arrows going straight ahead and right turning, I go on the left side of this lane to go through the intersection. The green lane on my mark up has no road arrows, and cars go straight and turn left. This has caught me out as cars in both lanes have travelled straight ahead on Westminster street, meaning one car has to give way to the other and as a cyclist in between the two this is dangerous. I would assume the lane marked green was for left turns only into Crawford street. Please put in road turning arrows on this lane, as cars go straight ahead, along with those in the yellow lane and as a cyclist we are caught up in it. Thanks!
