Reported Monday, 20 November 2017 at 6:51 pm, James Drive, Diamond Harbour, 8971, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The broken fence at the back of the James Drive Reserve is a hazard and results because of the lack of a gate in the fence. The developers plans show a path from Muriwai Drive to the Reserve and the beginnings of such a path have been done. However the two sections between which the path will go have now been sold and the path and a gate into the Reserve need to be completed. Obviously this will require action by both the City Council and the developer but now is the time to both reduce the hazard of the downed wire fence and to complete access for those using the playground and those going between James Drive and adjacent streets to Muriwai Drive and ultimately Marine Drive
