The reporter’s words

Every Tuesday evening from 5:30pm ( Touch rugby event) and any large sporting events at Numweek park (also periods during the Saturday rugby season Christchurch vehicles park over our the drive and less than 1m from a drive entrance. They double park on the berm and in our drive and our neighbors drive. The vehicles block visibility and obscure visibility of traffic and pedestrians ( children and parents) onto and around the drive entrance of 550 Harewood road. I am very concerned someone is going to get killed due to vehicles contesting this area and people entering and exiting the area on foot and by vehicles. Request yellow lines and signage guiding vehicles parking. Request appropriate level of sporting events where’re participating and spectators pariking capacity does not exceed the venue. There is also large volumes of rubbish dumped from cars onto the road and berm of 550 Harewood road.
