The reporter’s words
The roundabouts and area around the Prestons ‘lakes’ at the Styx Mill end have been very neglected since CCC has taken over from Ngai Tahu. So many weeds through the walkways, etc. The grass was quite overgrown and finally got mowed but grass blew everywhere. When is the Council going to tidy up the area? Seems such a shame as if is a beautiful place and does not deserve to be neglected like this. Ngai Tahu did a great job. Please can the Council do the same?
