Roading/Streets
Reported Sunday, 4 March 2018 at 5:07 pm, Asheridge Place, Halswell, 8025, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Note the damaged fence panels on Cycleway/ Walkway adjacent to Southern Motorway. These 4 instances are beside Canterbury Park. One was caused by a car, the rest are a result of the Roadside Mowing Contractor. We walk and or cycle this route on a daily basis and the panels have never been damaged in the past. The damage has all been done since Jan 2018. There are several other damaged panels from Canterbury Park heading South to Halswell Junction Road, again all damaged in 2018. Some are now protruding out on the Pathway which can be dangerous as we discovered when I hit a panel at sped on my bike resulting in $200 worth of bike damage.
