Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 21 March 2018 at 6:57 pm, 38, Puriri Street, Riccarton, 8041, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
This intersection was completed as part of the new cycle way. The signage has caused huge damage to numerous vehicles as they negotiate an intersection that is not straight and very narrow for turning traffic as well as visually confusing. The council seem determined to damage the public’s vehicles as they insist on trying to reinstall signs that are obviously not working. We are not prepared to mow the newly grassed area which is nothing but weeds and will damage our mower. We pay some of the highest rates in Christchurch and take pride in our property but it is not our responsibility to sow new lawn. Warren and Julie Argyle
