The set of lights here often back up onto Sir James Watties Drive. I suggest the left lane (currently left turn only) be made into a turn left or right lane. There are two lanes available for right turns. It feels frustrating sitting at these lights for multiple cycles and seeing barely any traffic pass by on Shands road at peak times. Another solution would be to decrease cycle times but I worry that would cause traffic to backup on Shands road. If no change is to be made please inform me too.
