Water main shut off valve inside the toby is rusting and seizing. We have managed to unseize it but needs a replacement due to ongoing corrosion and potentially failure in turning off the supply should that be required. CCC website states "the council owns and is responsible for maintenance of all water connection boxes (also known as the water meter box or toby box), including the pipes, valves and water meters within the connection box, whether installed on private property...
