The reporter’s words
A macrocarpa hedge has been cut back some time ago and the dead vegetation just left on the road verge. There’s now a car parked off the road in the grassy berm. With summer and the dry conditions this is a significant fire risk. I would ask the council to get the landowner to remove the vegetation under risk of fire.
