Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Sunday, 14 January 2024 at 2:28 pm, 3 Curletts Road, Sockburn, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The vegetation intrudes onto the footpath by at least half metre. Previous requests have resulted in a token 150mm being removed. The photo shows the true boundary line. Walkers are forced to walk closer to the edge of the footpath closer to the heavy traffic that regularly passes that way Curletts Rd being a major heavy traffic thoroughfare. There is clearly a safety factor involved. I believe there are by-laws covering this type of situation.
