General Request
Reported Sunday, 21 January 2024 at 10:45 am, 144/91 Marine Parade, New Brighton, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Overnight vehicles camping along marine parade, frequently obstruct the footpath which is dangerous to walkers and cyclists. The photographs shown have a BBQ in the path, and campers with a gas cooker overhanging the path, boiling hot water. Yesterday they had. Camp chairs and open doors obscuring 2/3 of the path, a dog lead crossing the path. I have seen people cooking on gas cookers positioned on the path. This is extremely dangerous to older persons, children, walkers and cyclists.
