Flooding
Reported Friday, 4 May 2018 at 3:52 pm, 2–13, Dallington Terrace, Dallington, 8061, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Hi ,this street in the red zone along the river gets used by a lot of people travel to school by bike , or for exercise and walking. It’s really annoying how as soon as there is a little bit of rain or high tide it will completely flood straight across due to a massive whole in the street. And you can not cross it unless you want to get very wet feet or can go up the steep bank to get across ( which is not a save option for older people or people with kids and prams. Is there any chance that at least the foot path bit could be filled up with some stones perhaps so it will be possible to get past or perhaps have 2 small openings cut in the fence so people could go around the puddle via the Gras next to it.
