Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Sunday, 4 February 2024 at 3:07 pm, 86 Port Hills Road, Heathcote, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Despite being trimmed late last year, the hedge has already started to encroach more onto the footpath. The second photo will show how much of the footpath is covered by the hedge, maybe 50 cm. The property owners need not be worried about a hard cut-back. The plants can handle it. They may also be worried about temporary loss of privacy, but I don't see why pedestrians should suffer because of their lack of hedge maintenance in the past.
