Parks

Reported Wednesday, 9 May 2018 at 6:38 pm, Somerfield, 8024, Canterbury.

The reporter’s words

I find the chain across the path through Somerfield park to be inappropriate for a regular cycle route. It forces cyclists to turn through a narrow gap with a bend. It would be much better to have one or two lift out poles. This would give cyclists and pedestrians a lot more options for passing this bottleneck. The same applies to the chain across Ernie Clark reserve.
