Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Sunday, 11 February 2024 at 9:41 am, 131 Mays Road, St Albans, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
My neighbour over the fence( property is on Mays Rd/ abandoned overgrown) tore down a house last year( he died subsequent to this)and his widow who lives at 7 Mays Rd has let the greenery grow out of control to the point where its now a fire hazard. I witnessed last Friday a young guy flick a cigarette butt into the dry grass and it started smoking. I went behind the fence and put out the smouldering with dirt. Could you please contact the owner/ tell them to clear the property?
