The reporter’s words

Hello Council person. Could consideration be given to looking into the timing of the crossing for pedestrians to cross the busy PAPANUI road by the Merivale Mall . The delays appear to be very long between pushing the button,the lights finally changing and then being granted approval to cross. Some pedestrians get frustrated and some take risks and run across the road which is not sensible. Hopefully consideration can be given to looking into this matter thank you .
