The reporter’s words
The manhole cover outside our driveway on Yaldhurst Road is broken, and the asphalt around the corners is slowly deteriorating too. A few weeks ago, I found a big chunk of metal on the road (at this spot) and put it in the red bin so it wouldn't cause damage to any traffic. I later spotted that it would have been the missing corner of this manhole cover. When cars drive past, their wheels roll directly on top of this cover, and I wouldn't want it to break more and cause any damage or harm.
