Unfit for purpose bike parking stands at Rarakau Riccarton Centre. Looks nice but how did this get approved? It doesn't meet CCC district plan rules for being able to easily secure a bike frame to it due to the size and shape of the stand. I had to park my bike sideways in order to lock the frame to the stand. The other two bikes were locked to their front wheel only which is not secure. Please add fit for purpose bike stands here. Ideally staple/Sheffield stands as is used in most other places.
