Roads - General
Reported Wednesday, 21 February 2024 at 8:38 am, Rose St near Beechworth Ave, Canterbury 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hello, There’s a real need for a raised pedestrian crossing at or near the Rose Street entrance to Cashmere High School (172 Rose Street). Every morning I witness many students of varying ages try to navigate crossing this busy stretch of road. It’s congested around school times, with through traffic, school buses, and parents dropping off their children. This area has several places of learning including Cashmere High, Somerfield Primary, and Rosy Cheeks preschool, all of which would benefit.
