The reporter’s words

Are there any plans for making this intersection safer? I have been biking with my daughter along Aorangi Street on her way to Cobham school but Wairaki Road is so busy that it is difficult and dangerous to cross when using the pedestrian sections and near impossible if you stay on the road. Even in the past week, I’ve seen two traffic incidents while we’ve been waiting to cross. I would love to see a proper controlled crossing or even traffic lights at this point to make it safer for all users
