Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Saturday, 2 March 2024 at 11:56 am, 29A Rata Street, Riccarton, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The vegetation is so overgrown my wife ACTUALLY TRIPPED on the flax from the CCC side growing onto the footpath as she avoided the homeowners overgrown part. As you can see it is now single file and others have to stand aside if someone is approaching, it’s like a one way bridge. This is a very busy footpath, especially on a Saturday with hundreds walking to the Farmer’s Market. And this isn’t the only part, around the corner in Rimu St the rose bushes reach too far over the footpath too.
