The reporter’s words
Sprung gate across track east of Gondola summit has sharp twisted wire on it. When going through the gate it has sprung back very hard and the projecting wire has caught my husband's arm and lacerated it, requiring 3 stitches. The gate needs to be inspected for safety, mainly exposed sharp wire.
