Roads - General
Reported Friday, 15 March 2024 at 11:08 am, 105 Clarence Street, Riccarton, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I wonder if your risk management team have considered safety issue with having the speed slowing exit “bump” heading toward Riccarton from Barrington. I can see the fun some may have causing cars to bottom out if travelled at speed where not a SUV (I have an EV i3 which has small wheels). So this encourages sharp braking. Intersections are already busy hazardous parts of roading. Why wait for an inexperienced or elderly driver tragic incident before reviewed. I have no issue with entry “bump”.
